Model is accurate as is.
Walthers has produced a "Minnesota" type ore car that was operated by
several railroads including the GN. This model is an accurate representative for
several thousand cars, in several different car series, that were operated by
the GN. The model is available decorated for the GN and a taconite version of
this car was also available.
Prototype Paint Color
Mineral Red.
A small number of cars were Vermillion Red and Glacier Green
