Basic Modeling Notes
Building this model requires a fair amount of work, but it is cheaper than
purchasing a brass model. Cars in this series can be modeled by using the Atlas
wide-vision caboose along with a cupola manufactured by Moloco (part number
SC-1501). Add a Plano roof walk (use the 35' covered hopper version),
appropriate details, and rework the end railings and end detail. Refer to a
photograph in order to determine the appropriate changes..
